1. Booking Process

You should also ensure that children and pets are kept away from the work area while cleaning is in progress and until surfaces are safe to use.

You must tell us about any pre-existing wear, tear, loose fittings, water damage, mould, discolouration, colour loss, or prior cleaning attempts that may affect the outcome. Hidden defects and weak materials can sometimes worsen during cleaning, especially where items are old, damaged, or have been exposed to previous chemical treatment. We cannot be responsible for issues that arise because important information was not disclosed before the service began.

5. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from any single booking will not exceed the amount paid for the service in question, except where a higher limit is required by law. We will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of opportunity.

Where we move furniture, we will do so only where it is reasonably safe and practical. We do not accept liability for items that are unstable, poorly assembled, extremely heavy, or not suitable for moving, unless we have specifically agreed otherwise in writing. Customers should remove delicate, valuable, or irreplaceable items before the appointment. Any electrical items left in place should be disconnected, and we accept no responsibility for damage resulting from concealed faults or insecure fittings.

6. Waste Regulations and Disposal We operate in accordance with applicable UK environmental and waste-management obligations. Any waste generated during the service, such as packaging, used cloths, removed debris, or extracted waste water, will be managed responsibly and disposed of in a lawful manner. If we discover contamination, infestation, bodily fluids, mould, or other hazardous substances, we may suspend work and require specialist handling before proceeding.

If any item, residue, or waste material left at the property is classed as controlled, hazardous, or potentially hazardous, we reserve the right to refuse removal unless suitable arrangements have been made and all legal requirements are met. You are responsible for disclosing any known contamination risks before the appointment. We may also decline a booking where the work would create waste-handling obligations beyond the scope of our standard cleaning service or outside our legal permissions.

However, the final appearance of carpets, rugs, or upholstery may be influenced by wear patterns, lighting, humidity, prior maintenance, and the nature of the original stain or damage. Any advice we give about aftercare, drying, or ongoing maintenance is intended to help you get the best results, but it is your responsibility to follow reasonable precautions after the service has been completed. If additional treatment is required because of heavy staining, pet contamination, or repeated traffic wear, this may be treated as an extra service and charged accordingly. We do not promise restoration to a “like new” condition unless this is expressly agreed in writing and is realistically achievable.

8. Complaints and Reinspection

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the work, you should notify us within a reasonable time after completion so that we can review the matter. We may request photographs, a description of the issue, and an opportunity to inspect the affected area. If we agree that a reasonable shortcoming has occurred and that it is within our control, we may offer a re-clean, adjustment, or another suitable remedy at our discretion.

Where such an event occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to recover the booking or arrange an alternative time, but we will not be responsible for losses arising from the delay.

10. Governing Law These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute, claim, or matter arising from or in connection with the services or these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

11. General Provisions We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or business changes. The version in force at the time of your booking will normally apply to that booking unless we expressly state otherwise. No variation of these terms will be effective unless agreed by us in writing. The failure to enforce any right or provision shall not be treated as a waiver of that right or provision.

These terms, together with the booking details and any written quotation or confirmation, form the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the service. If there is any conflict between the booking confirmation and these terms, the booking confirmation will apply only to the extent of the conflict. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable UK legislation.
